ABOUT Peter Sategna Educational Foundation:
Peter Mitchell Sategna a native of Rockvale, Colorado, was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He worked for more than 35 years at a meat cutter and was a member of Butcher’s Union Local 120 and was active in the Fratellanza Club in Oakland. It was his wish that a foundation be set up to help underprivileged children get the education they deserve by going to college or trade school, and with that in mind the Peter Sategna Educational Foundation was founded in 2008.
